Who we are

ProsperaData is a company search engine: it helps you find businesses and returns company-level information only. It is not a CRM, not a marketplace and not a people database. The company acting as data controller and its registered contact details is identified in the operator details below.

Data we use

Account identity, business workspace, hashed email identifiers, API key metadata (not raw keys), searches and billing usage metadata, security logs and published business information with source references.

Company information comes from public sources — information that businesses publish themselves — and every returned company field carries a source reference, so you can check where a value came from.

Purposes and grounds

Account data — providing the requested service (contract). Published B2B company data, including generic business contact information — our legitimate interest in operating a company search engine, balanced against the interests and rights of the businesses concerned; these records are about companies, not about identified people. Protecting systems and preventing abuse — our legitimate interests. Meeting legal duties — legal obligation. Optional analytics require a lawful basis.

Retention and rights

We limit storage to what is needed for service, security and legal obligations. Users can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object where applicable. Send those requests — including requests to correct or remove a company record — to suporte@prosperadata.com, or complain to the Portuguese CNPD. Retention periods and processor list require legal validation before launch.
